Guest Organ/Piano/Guitar Accompanist
CHORAL GROUPS, SOLOISTS, CONTEMPORARY BAND, CONGREGATIONS
Q: Accompanying: are you the “leader” or the “servant”?
A: THE SERVANT!
It is my job to make the choir, solo voice, small group, instrumentalist sound their best! Playing in a group? To blend - not take over! Guitar? Self-taught from experience at Grace Episcopal playing in a band - invaluable skill working with children. The best way to lead a group of very young children - perfect for Vacation Bible School.
Accompanying Experience:
- By far the greatest - accompanying choirs and congregations in church services
- Vocal soloists, duets, or more - both in Liturgical Services and for competitions such as those conducted by the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS)
- Instrumentalists
- Contemporary Christian Music Band - piano and guitar
- Contemporary Christian Music Worship Service - piano and guitar

Congregational Singing Workshops
CHURCH DIRECTORS - MUSIC AND PASTORAL
Does your congregation sing with a hearty and strong voice? Participate in Liturgical Worship with conviction?
Primarily directed to denominations with Liturgical Worship and singing traditional hymns in addition to more contemporary items, I am offering a Friday evening and Saturday time of meeting together, closing with the regularly scheduled Sunday Morning Main Worship Service.
We will cover:
- The basics of singing with greater strength
- The “more you give, the more you receive” principal
- Liturgical Worship today builds on the blood of Martyrs - a little history

Consultation
Music ministry:
- how/what/why
- hiring musicians guidance
- YOUNG CHILDREN - SING! / FEED THE HOMELESS
During the 46 years at St. Michael’s, the Music Ministry touched the lives of literally thousands of people.
“A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence.”
- Leopold Stokowski
So, let’s paint...
- Organization and time management skills that simplify life
- Choirs for all ages, babies thru retired - teach them, train them
- Services sung in country churches to mighty Cathedrals
- Music that shines meaning on God’s Words heard in worship
- Concerts where singers sing, instrumentalists play, the organ speaks - Oilvier Latry from Notre Dame to a local Beatles Cover Band, Handel’s “Messiah” through Stravinsky’s “Mass”
- Programs for college voices to sing the Voice of God
- Singing songs that feed the soul of a community, not the adoration of those singing
- Instruments that breathe the same air with which singers sing - the mighty pipe organ!
Guidance on which “brush” to use, the “palette” of colors for any of the above? Call me.
Sing, then. Sing, indeed, with shoulders back, and head up so that song might go to the roof and beyond to the sky. Mass on mass of tone, with a hard edge, and rich with quality, every single note a carpet of colour woven from basso profundo, and basso, and baritone, and alto, and tenor, and soprano, and also mezzo, and contralto, singing and singing, until life and all things living are become a song.
- Richard Llewellyn (1906-1983, English novelist)
FEEDING HOMELESS CHILDREN
Initially a St. Michael’s Choir Outreach Ministry, then the whole church. In 2025/2026 the “FEED MY LAMBS” program regularly delivered 400-600 lbs of food to two local school each month. Call me for information on how you can implement this same program.
